Breaking news

June 2021: After its original 2013 opening, this amazing Zaha Hadid designed space in the centre of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park has ressurected its original name (having operated for a year or two as a branch of Chuc's). Benugo are the new operators and will – under Slovakian-born Chef Tomas Kolkus – be maxing out on a sustainable cooking principle called CLIMAVORE. Open from 10am for breakfast.

This Zaha Hadid-designed gallery restaurant in Hyde Park “deserves more recognition” according to reporters, who think it “a great space”, with “interesting food” (maybe only being open for lunch and afternoon tea is what keeps it under the radar). Perhaps a new team, scheduled to take over its management in late 2017, will finally put it properly on the map?

For 30 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
