Summary

“The good-quality Lebanese food never disappoints” at this high-profile chain that has prospered for more than 30 years. “It’s very easy to fill up on the starters, which are always delicious” – and more “affordable” than the mains. For live music and belly dancing, head to the original Edgware Road venue. Top Tip: café sections at I and II offer an excellent menu of wraps at bargain prices.

Summary

“It’s the starters and mezze that hold centre stage” (although the mains are “tasty” too) at this successful Lebanese chain, whose café sections with excellent menus of wraps (part of I and II) are better known than the adjoining more formal (rather “stiff and impersonal”) restaurants. Head to the Marble Arch original for regular music and belly dancing.

Summary

“Some of the best places for Lebanese food and open all hours” – this well-known chain provides wraps and “exceptional mezze” in its café sections (part of I and II) and “well-executed” more substantial fare in its restaurants. “The decor is a bit naff, but it’s all part of the charm”.

Summary

“Consistent quality over numerous years” has won a big following for this well-known Lebanese chain, some of whose branches (I & II) have bustling café/take-aways alongside more serious restaurants; especially at the latter however, “the décor could be fresher”. Top Menu Tip – in the cafés, if you’re on a budget, ask for the menu of wraps.
