Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Maybe I’m just not the target audience, but that still doesn’t justify the bill!” – this eurotrashy Mayfair scene (forced to drop the [C]‘ipriani’ from its name in a lawsuit a few years ago) continues to live down to the low expectations formed by former surveys: “service is slow and condescending”, and “prices are outrageous for ordinary dishes” (think of a number, then double it).
“The crowd is from another planet” at this eurotrashy Mayfair haunt, which can seem “fun” if you’ve money to burn. The “simple” cooking isn’t so much bad as “massively overpriced” – “service on the other hand is truly dreadful” – “do they have to train the staff to be so inattentive?”
“Full of wannabes!”; this “extortionately expensive” Mayfair eurotrash-magnet too often provides “amateur” service and “terrible” Italian food – “thank god we were taken!”
“Eye-wateringly expensive” yet “sorely disappointing”, this Mayfair Italian seems to survive mainly on its people-watching possibilities – “do they pay celebs to eat there, to get in the Daily Mail readers?”
