Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Home Taiwanese cooking at its best” is found at this “slightly quirky, family-run restaurant” lurking unobtrusively near crossroads between Lillie Road and the North End Road, whose dedicated small fanclub has long rated it as one of London’s better Chinese kitchens. Top Tip – “always take the ‘leave it to the chef’ option for a fantastic feast”.
“It’s all too easy to walk past” this “hidden gem” just off the North End Road, which is “as good as many of the leading Chinese restaurants in London, and much cheaper”. “Pick the chef’s Leave It To Us menu” and “dish after dish arrives at your table”, all of them “convincing” and some “insanely good”.
“Amazing value, hidden gem off the gritty North End Road”, with supremely “helpful” service, and where the “consistently delicious” Chinese cooking comes with “interesting” – and spicy – Taiwanese variations; “go with the superb let-us-feed-you chef’s menu”.
“It might not have the posh decor you’d find in the West End”, but this Fulham operation behind an “unlikely-looking shopfront” offers “superb” and “utterly reliable” Chinese dishes; “choose the ‘leave it to the chef’ menu – he really does know best”.
