It’s worth knowing about this “light, airy and comfortable renovation” of a Victorian boozer complete with cute beer garden, according to Deptford-based regulars: “nothing will unduly quicken the pulse but everything’s reassuringly pleasant: solidly-executed pub-grub, a decent selection of beers on tap, and BT Sport & Sky for the footie (though it never gets too rowdy)”.
Gentrified a couple of years ago, this “lively” Deptford gastropub is thriving on its “excellent pub food and great ambience”; cute garden too.
Recently-refurbished Deptford gastropub, “definitely worth a visit if you’re passing” for its superior cooking and “nice city garden”.
