Harden's says
An ambitious and stylish Thai restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from The Shard, serving up "wholesome" dishes.
Harden's survey result
Summary
“Great, modern Thai food” is to be had at this stylish (although “rather cramped and noisy”) pub conversion a short walk from the Shard by London Bridge station – “the kind of Thai you wish was just around the corner”. It’s run by siblings Roselyn, Shakris & Bank Inngern, the new generation of the family that operated Thai restaurant Suchard on nearby Tooley Street for more than 20 years, which has recently been re-opened as veggie specialist Plants of Roselyn.
Summary
“Extremely good” Thai food helps win a fair-sized fan club for this white-walled pub-conversion, near London Bridge. But “when it’s packed, it can be a bit noisy for a good conversation”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
