Harden's survey result
Summary
“A great, traditional Turkish outlet on the grimier stretch of Stoke Newington High Street” – this “Stokey stalwart” is “a favourite for a diverse crowd” and approaching its 25th year. “They show a fine hand on the grill and churn out some of the most addictive Turkish bread anywhere – streaked with meat juices (be careful not to fill yourself up before the actual food arrives!)”. The upshot is “fresh salads, fluffy flatbreads, tasty kebabs and hearty portions”. “It’s comparatively comfortable and friendly, too”.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
