Harden's survey result
“A very small, friendly local” in the centre of Muswell Hill for over two years now; mostly it serves “delicious”, light brunch-friendly fare from breakfast onwards (“lovely healthy salad options”), but there’s a more substantial menu of simple, modern bistro dishes by night.
“A find in a part of London which has been poorly served by quality restaurants for a long time” – this year-old “small café with a short menu” in Muswell Hill serves “delicious”, “fresh” food (from brunch and light lunches to more ambitious fare in the evening) and service is “helpful and friendly” too.
Aleion Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Using my new Harden's app I booked this restaurant for a Saturday night because of the good rating it was given. Quite honestly, I was underwhelmed. The place was half empty, and therefore had no atmosphere. The starter of parsnip soup accompanied with sour -dough toast was perfectly acceptable but nothing special. Portions were good but sadly my cod, and my companion's lamb, were only lukewarm. Even after requesting the meat to be reheated, it still arrived in the same condition it had left the table. If Aleion is to justify its description of 'A find in a part of London poorly served by quality restaurants' it needs to up its game."
