Hailing originally from North Yorkshire and the North East, this branch of steakhouses opened in London in December 2020, on the former site of Jamie O’s once-famous Fifteen (RIP) in Hoxton. A furore during furlough – when staff were asked to pay their own National Insurance – did nothing for the press profile of the chain’s management. Perhaps now it’s back to business as usual, folks will just concentrate on the steak and cocktails?

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
