Harden's survey result
Summary
“Very good… but not as good as A Wong” is a common view on Andrew Wong’s late-2018 opening in Bloomberg’s HQ, which provides “a very different experience and menu from the Pimlico original”. Foodwise the emphasis is not on dim sum, but on plates of Cantonese roast meats, and, though “refined” with “lovely clean tastes”, results seem “quite pricey”. And the interior, though slick, is a trifle “dull” to some tastes. Still, it’s “another ‘tick’ for the City’s rise as a dining destination”, and the overall verdict is that it’s “still well worth a visit”. Top Tip – good value ‘Sunday roast’.
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
