The little sibling of Smithfield stalwart Club Gascon, next door, relaunches under a new name. Formerly Cellar Gascon, the restaurant won praise among our reporters for its “stand-out regional French wines” and elegant (slightly “tired”?) style last year. One or two reporters feel that “some dishes don’t quite hit the mark”, but it’s overall still well rated.
Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
What was ‘Cellar Gascon’ next to Club Gascon has recently rebranded and re-launched with a more modish new look, serving Gascon ‘Frapas’ (French tapas) alongside ‘hand-crafted’ cocktails.
