“Excellent, locally caught seafood” (“tasty and straightforward”) is the winning formula of the southernmost restaurant in the British Isles – “not the most glamorous of places, but you go for the food”; there are “numerous catches of the day, but when it’s gone it’s gone”…lucky, then, that the “extensive menu” also includes plenty of other dishes with a Mediterranean slant. “Alan, the owner, is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and pretty much any idiosyncrasies from customers are accommodated”, while this is the sort of place that is “best in summer al fresco”, when you can enjoy the “great location right on the beach”.
