Harden's says
An ambitious new, £1 million Indian restaurant in Hull's Fruit Market from Tapan Mahapatra and Mukesh Tirkoti, the chefs behind Hull's Tapasya. Not only will it offer a seven course tasting menu, with gin pairing option, there will also be a takeaway service for seafarers using the marina. The restaurant is part of a larger £80m scheme to regenerate the city's Fruit Market and marina area ahead of its crowning as capital of culture in 2017.
Harden's survey result
Summary
“Good food overlooking the marina” is reported in all accounts of this swish contemporary Indian. Even someone who feels its expensive-looking styling is “all a bit too grand for its own good” says “the food is well cooked and comes in generous portions”.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
