If and when you have “beer, bondage and burgers fantasies”, these “outlandish” grunge-fests are unparalleled with their “wild (and LOUD) interiors” and “street food with attitude” – “legendary dirty burgers” (“the Dead Hippie is a Big Mac on steroids”)… wings… chili cheese fries.
“Delicious, dirty burgers” have won fame and fortune for these “dark and loud” grunge-fests, but – given the noise, hustle, and hard chairs – “they’re not a place to linger”.
The self-consciously “dingy”, “so-loud” vibe – “like a cross between a biker bar and a branch of Hollisters” – underpins the “hip” appeal of these notorious dives; “the long queues are justified” though for a fix of the “brill cocktails”, “lovely dirty burgers” and other cholesterol-laden treats.
