The “fantastic” Vietnamese food at these canteens “is by far the best I’ve found, and I’ve tried a number of places in London” – although “it isn’t the best for ambience”. Top Tip – “the banh cuon (steamed rice roll) has me travelling across town with a craving!”.

“Brilliant value and authentic Vietnamese” venues in Soho and Shoreditch. The interiors might be “inauspicious”, but staff are “helpful” and the food is “warming and packed with taste”.
“Fresh, zingy Vietnamese food” makes these “affordable” Soho and Shoreditch venues a “trusty option”, especially for an “excellent-value set lunch” or “quick pre-theatre meal”.
