This nautically styled old Harry Ramsden’s remains “very popular with Boundary Mill shoppers” owing to its “great fish ’n’ chips and service” (not to forget the textbook mushy peas.
“The fish, chips and mushy peas are always served piping hot and tasty” (and they “even have beer”) say fans of this former Harry Ramsden’s – ideal after hitting the shops at the Boundary Mill outlet. The nautical interior is pleasant, “although if you look out of the window you may think you are in a motorway service station”.
“Great fish ’n’ chips” – “always well-cooked and hot” (“don’t forget the mushy peas”!) are the lure to this “child-friendly” venue, in a former Harry Ramsden’s at the Boundary Mill outlet. The interior itself is pleasant enough but “a bit like sitting in a service station café if you face the motorway!”
While there are “not many good fish ’n’ chippies in Lancashire”, this purpose-built outfit – a former Harry Ramsden’s attached to the Boundary Mill outlet – is certainly “an exception”.
