Still “a lovely place to stay”, the Eden Collection’s swan-lake-surrounded Victorian pile is a “very relaxing” stop-off en route from North to South. Chef Tim Jenkins, elevated from sous to head chef a few years back, continues to please with his local/seasonal food, although service has dropped off a notch.
The Eden Collection’s Victorian manor house hotel “is simply brilliant” by most (but not quite all) accounts; since August 2016, former sous chef Tim Jenkins has been at the helm, and his food is, for fans, “as good as gets”. Top Tip – “For those wanting to sample the ambience and food quality try high tea...you’ll be back for more, I guarantee”.
The Eden Collection’s “beautiful” Victorian country house hotel “in a lovely setting” is “back on form”, say fans, with the cuisine “improving all the time”. Former sous chef Tim Jenkins was appointed to the top job (post survey) in August 2016 – here’s hoping it continues the good run.
