For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"King of all roasts here on a Sunday, very very delicious and generous. You have the choice of meat or veggie and get a massive sharing platter, three meats chicken, beef and pork and stuffing, or a lovely veggie pumpkin and spiced chickpea roast when we went. Then there's perfect roast spuds, delicious cheesy leeks with cream, greens and fab yorkshires. Gravy in abundance too and the veggie gravy totally delicious. Nice wine list and great service. The atmosphere is cosy on an autumn evening in the lovely rustic candle lit barn. Also not to forget some great traditional puddings, fruit crumble and ice cream was on the next level."
