“Wonderful fresh produce and stunning dishes” win fans for the Norbury family’s “fantastic gastropub”, handily placed for the South Downs and coast, and there’s a “great atmosphere” to boot.

Near the South Downs and the coast – a local pub revamped in 2011 by the Newbon family. Too limited feedback as yet for a rating, but all positive.

Have you eaten at The Lamb at Angmering?

Owner's description

The Lamb at Angmering is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy fine dining, with an ambience that lends itself to a lunch with friends or colleagues, a family meal or a romantic evening for two.  Friendly, attentive staff are always on hand, dedicated to ensuring your experience with us is always of the highest standard.  Whether you dine in the bar, the restaurant, the orangery or the garden you can look forward to wonderful food, service and atmosphere every time.

Thanks to fantastic local suppliers, the food we offer at The Lamb is made from only the best quality ingredients.  Our menu is frequently reviewed and updated to reflect not only an excellent choice, but seasonality too.  Daily specials enhance our menus and our set lunch menu offers excellent value for money.  Our wonderful chef, Richard Cook and his skilled kitchen team have a passion for food that is evident on every plate served at The Lamb.

We are proud to be a family owned pub and restaurant with rooms, owned by the Newbon family since 2011.  We have overseen a loving refurbishment and are very proud to present The Lamb in its current glory, welcoming guests to enjoy fine food, an extensive bar selection and also our luxurious rooms.  The rich history of this building is embraced, we hope will continue to be at the heart of our Sussex village for many more years to come.
