On the main road just south of Tower Bridge, a jolly, informal and reasonably-priced new South American steakhouse that offers a useful stand-by in an area with few other options; we couldn’t, however, quite perceive the ‘destination’ charms at which some reviews elsewhere have hinted.

Enjoyed the food, but we were shoved in the corner next to the toilets and opposite the open kitchen - the smell of chargrilled cooking seemed to stay in my hair and clothes for days, despite having jumped under the shower when I got home (not fully clothed I hasten to add, merely to rid my locks of 'eau de medium rare steak')!
