Crib de Rib to launch in South Ken

London’s love affair with the all-American barbecue continues with the launch of a new rib shack in South Kensington on 12 September. Crib de Rib is a restaurant, cocktail bar and private dining venue, serving short rib of beef – marinated for 24 hours before being slow cooked, then charcoal roasted – as well as red snapper ‘en papillote’.

Former La Bodega Negra head chef Rafal Kostecki runs the kitchen while mixologist Bastien Dupuy creates the signature cocktails. Crib de Rib takes over the former site of Pasha, a “romantic” if unremarkable Moroccan, at 1 Gloucester Road. It will open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
