Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
For fans of these “crowded and cramped” Japanese, they are a “go-to, quick cheap eat with steaming bowls of ramen”; overall though, ratings were more M.O.R. this year.
“Mad popularity creates a rather hectic ambience”, at these “crowded and packed-in” Japanese pit-stops; still “you can expect quality food” – “amazing fresh noodles, broth and steamed buns”.
“Fast, furious, and packed to the rafters!” – these “basic” and “very noisy” Japanese pit stops major in “wonderful broth and noodles” and “tasty hirata buns”.
“Getting very close to Tokyo chain standards!” – this “cheap”, “cheerful” and “tightly-packed” ramen parlour is hailed by most reporters as a “superb” pit stop… and just a few moments from Piccadilly Circus too; now also in Soho.
Shoryu Ramen Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Outside table enabled people watching at the max. Long queue but well managed. Food was tasty and filling if a little on the expensive side. Good option in a busy trendy area."
"Very good food, and service was nice and friendly, especially as we were 2 full families. However, the music was too loud and the choice (techno) was irrelevant for such place"
