“A pleasant surprise” – a “relaxing, welcoming” gastroboozer whose “sound pub menu” earns its popularity.
A “great gastropub” whose real ales, Sunday roasts and so on are “very popular”; by local standards, though, it can seem “a wee bit expensive”.
A “great little gastropub” with “a traditional feel” – it’s recommended by most reporters for its “excellent” real ales, “fantastic Sunday roasts” and some “very interesting theme nights and set menus”.
