Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Well-sourced, thoughtful cooking, careful service and a great choice of puds” are three reasons why “you always leave The Fishes feeling cheerful” – others being the attractive waterside setting and pleasant garden.
Encouraging feedback of late for this “very attractive” waterside pub with a “lovely” garden; fans say its food is now “really good”, and service seems to be much improved too.
“Decent pub grub” and a “fabulous garden” overlooking the water make this venue a popular choice for those “looking for somewhere near but not in” the city; the “menu needs to change more often”, though, and service, though “friendly”, can be somewhat “chaotic”.
A “family-friendly” venue, with a lovely waterside setting on the fringe of the city, with a “great summer garden”, where food can be ordered picnic-style – results are “decent” if, on some reports, “a bit pricey”.
