“Perfect crispy-based pizza” – “so light that normal pizza-associated guilt is forgotten” – as usual wins high praise for this pub-conversion duo. The newish Shepherd’s Bush branch is “very comfy, with a large bar”, while the very “buzzy” original is a Notting Hill classic for “a fun night out”.
There’s something so “cool” about the “really buzzing” style of these “transformed old boozers” in Bayswater and Shepherd’s Bush, which serve “scrumptious”, “thin and crispy” pizza – “some of the finest in town!” Top Tip – the upstairs bar in W2 is “a real gem”.
“Incredible thin and crispy pizza” – especially at the “really buzzing” Bayswater original – helps make these “airy” and “fun” west London pub-conversions perennially popular hangouts; in W2, there’s a “vibey” bar upstairs too.
With its superbly “cool vibe” and its “brilliant wood-fired” pizzas this former boozer has made itself quite a Notting Hill fixture – don’t miss the “funky and relaxed” bar upstairs; on an early visit, its airy new Shepherd’s Bush sibling seems a tad less “self-conscious” (but all things are relative).
