Given its City-heavy readership, the Bloomberg review of this Devonshire Square newcomer is not going to go down well with its subject. It was the main courses that really got to the critic: “if the roasted fillet of sea bass was wild, it was probably due to indignation at being served dry and with so little flavor it was barely recognizable as fish. The Landes duck (with a honey-and-mustard glaze) appeared to have lived to a ripe old age. It was without interest, like a collateralized-debt obligation”, and the mash was “disgusting”.
