“Et voilà…” – if you’re looking for a good, if stereotypical, Gallic bistro, you won’t do much better than this “authentic” operation (which is especially worth seeking out for the “terrific-value early-evening menu”); at the other end of the New Town, L’Escargot Blanc is a paler imitation.
