With its “classical cooking in a traditional and comfortable country-house setting”, Emma & Tim Ford’s “welcoming and elegant” restaurant-with-rooms near Yeovil is “difficult to beat” – and it “always seems even better than last time”. “Emma keeps a very good wine list, full of interesting things at reasonable prices – and there’s always a nice selection of pinot noir from the New World”.
