Summary

Given its splendour, this Italian dining room of a luxury hotel off Trafalgar Square still inspires remarkably little feedback. All reports are positive though, and for a business meal it has evident attractions.

Summary

Few chambers boast such dazzlingly OTT décor as this luxurious five-star dining room, near Embankment tube; its “high-end Italian fare” has always struggled to find a constituency, but fans say “the pre-theatre meal is a great experience”.

Summary

The “opulent” setting may be “amazing”, but this Italian dining room, near Trafalgar Square, has put in a mixed performance since its launch a few years ago; of late, however, it has begun to garner more praise, especially for the “excellent-value” set lunch, and “charming” service too.

Summary

Since Massimo left in mid-2012, this unbelievably opulent chamber, near Embankment, has given the impression of “needing to be kicked into action” – offering cooking of no more than “trattoria” standard, is this perhaps the Most-Expensive-Least-Exploited dining room in town?

"Since my last visit, three others dined with me. The menu remains varied, and three out of the four likes the restaurant. The portions might be considered on the smaller side. The dining room with its high ceilings and marble columns is lovely."
