This really handily located Japanese, by the Coliseum, seems to risk losing its way; the set lunch menus may still be worth seeking out, but a worrying number of reports have found the whole performance rather “tired” of late.

"Sushi/sashimi platter generally good, although a couple of the rolls were a little dry. Avocado & Tuna starter well spiced. Tempura batter very good. Reasonable value. Will return"

"Convenience isn't enough reason to go to this once attractive, now very tired Japanese offering. Warm miso soup accompanied by just warm al dente broccoli florets; fresh tempura of crab sticks places it firmly down market as far as food is concerned. That view was confirmed by the tired chunk of salmon, standing so long on the warm plate that the chopsticks could barely break open the flesh. Spanish speaking maitre lent an unauthentic touch, though the bowls were brought by a Japanese. Cheap it may be, but that's no reason for going."
