The Survey ResultDiary

2010 Review: When Gordon Ramsay talked about taking British pub food ‘to a new level’, most people didn’t realise he was proposing the sort of “barren, cheerless and disappointing” experience too often reported at this Chiswick gastroboozer (it was much better before he bought it!)

  • Evening Standard Fay Maschler (6th November 2007)
    1/5 stars

“Get back to what you do best” – after lunching at the newest boozer in the his empire, Ms. Maschler notes the irony of Gordon Ramsay's appearance in a BT ad featuring this line. Some of what she ate was “completely offputting”.
