Fresh “from the Locatelli stable”, this “lovely” and “vibrant” Pimlico Italian has been “packed ever since it opened”; the cooking “combines comfort food with intensely-flavoured Tuscan invention”, but it is arguably eclipsed by the “perfect” service.

"A long straight room in Pimlico" that's "lit low but rather dramatically" and with "exposed brickwork" that "nods at, rather than screams 'New York'." The food is so authentic Zoe suffers an "olfactory illusion" and thinks she can smell wood smoke. Dishes are "so balanced", "so perfectly Italian" and yet "the hwole plays feels way more expensive than it is". All-in-all it's a "gorgeous date-night restaurant – smart, delicious and "Italian down to every minute particular".
