“Great teppanyaki in the traditional style” is an “entertaining experience” (especially for a business occasion) at this pricey St James’s Japanese; not so the “drab” interior however.
For “authentic teppan-yaki exquisitely done”, this long-established St James’s basement is just the job, even if the “ambience could be better”; “the sushi bar is a secret gem”.
“Very good teppanyaki” is the prime draw to this long-established St James’s basement, where there is also a high-quality sushi bar – both inspire pretty solid feedback, but little in the way of excitement.
