“Classic Gallic bistro cooking” (including “magnificent stuffed pig’s trotter”) is executed “with aplomb” at Pierre K’s “elegant” (if “hotel-ish”) Knightsbridge basement yearling; those who remember him from La Tante Claire (London’s best restaurant of its day), however, may still find the new operation a little underwhelming.
