Foliage, Mandarin Oriental

£87

The Survey ResultDiary

2010 Review: With its “majestic views” (from the window tables) and “comfortable” interior, this park-side dining room put in a very decent showing under Chris Staines – his mid-2009 resignation, in anticipation of Heston Blumenthal’s arrival at the hotel in 2010, doesn’t augur particularly well for the restaurant’s final months.

STOP PRESS: (Note: March 2010) This restaurant is now closed. The site is reported to re-open as a new restaurant with Heston Blumenthal at the helm in late 2010. Check our restaurant news articles for updates.

Press Reviews (1)

  • Sunday Times Michael Winner (22nd May 2007)

The critic has a “really terrible, terrible meal” and a restaurant which was a “catastrophic waste” of a lunchtime. On the upside, though, service was “exemplary”.
