Summary
“Solid cooking” of some ambition – with “clean and distinct flavours” – helps inspire good reports on this Welsh chef’s South Bank venue, most particularly as “a handy option for a high-quality meal prior to heading for the Bridge Theatre”. “The experience can sometimes feel no more than functional”, however, as “the modern setting does not contribute much character”, but “friendly service” is some compensation.
