Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“The Spanish-orientated cuisine (including the wine list) remains reliable and interesting” at this Pimlico stalwart. “Amiable service and ambience” ensure that it’s popular with locals as well as visitors.
“Delighting locals and those from further afield” – a stalwart local in west Pimlico, lauded for its “unusual cuisine” (“Spanish with a twist”) and in particular for staff who are “polite, solicitous, but not over-bearing”; if there’s a quibble it’s that the odd dish “lacks oomph”.
“Caring” staff and “satisfying” Spanish-influenced food have made a bit of a name for this “always-buzzy” stalwart of the west-Pimlico wasteland; prices are quite high, though, and some meals this year seemed rather “rough and ready”.
“By far the best restaurant round Victoria”, say fans – this “charming and welcoming” Pimlico stalwart is “not cheap”, but its “hearty” Iberian-influenced food is “consistently good and interesting”.
