Roman food for Parle’s empire

2016_09_15_craft_9682Chef Stevie Parle is providing an in-house restaurant for a luxury co-worker space in Clerkenwell that opens early next year.

The FORA workspace will offer boutique hotel or members’ club-style services to clients who want a bit more than ping-pong tables and beer on tap in the communal space.

The site in Central Street, Clerkenwell, is the first of eight around London earmarked for opening by FORA founder Enrico Sanna, a former Deutsche Bank executive who has reportedly raised £400million of investment for the project.

Parle’s contribution, Palatino, will be a bar, restaurant and take-away focused on the food of Rome. Parle opened the Dock Kitchen beside Portobello Dock in Ladbroke Grove in 2009, followed by Craft London, Rotorino and Sardine. Harden’s Survey has praised the Dock Kitchen’s “unique, ever-changing menu”.
