Korean Restaurants in Soho
1. Jinjuu Korean restaurant in Soho 16 Kingly St - W1
This “modern Korean” basement off Carnaby Street does a great line in “delicious but different food” served in “cool surroundings”: it “delivers on the staples – fried chicken, dumplings, etc – while more unusual modern interpretations also hit the target”, such as “terrific tofu sliders”. In June 2019, Korean-American TV chef Judy Joo severed her ties with the venture, but we’ve maintained the rating for the time being.
2. Bibimbap Soho Korean restaurant in Soho 11 Greek St - W1
For a Korean bite on the go, try these Soho and Fitzrovia canteens (and there’s also a take-away in the City’s Leadenhall Market), whose trade bibimbaps (rice with a topping) make for “delicious food, served quickly and at great prices”. Top Tip – “Korean Fried Chicken is a naughty-but-nice treat packed full of flavour”.
3. Mee Market Korean restaurant in Soho 9a Archer Street - W1D
Restaurateur Linda Lee (Koba, On The Bab) is opening a new Korean venture on a two-floor Soho site; with dine-in, takeaway and retail sections, it will be based on the table-and-market concept found in Seoul, South Korea.
4. Hongdae Pocha Korean restaurant in Soho 26 Romilly Street - W1D
London's First retro pocha - an informal bar, the Korean equivalent of a pub.
5. Korean Dinner Party Korean restaurant in Soho Top Floor, Kingly Court, Carnaby Street - W1B
The teams behind Senor Ceviche and TATA Eatery have come together to create this LA Koreatown-inspired Soho restaurant and cocktail bar.
