Patty & Bun move east

Fans of ever-packed burger bar Patty & Bun will be pleased to hear a second outpost is set to open this month in the City. The new restaurant will launch on the former site of Ping Pong Now in Liverpool Street, in April, directly opposite the UK's busiest McDonald's.

The original, near Selfridges, is a cramped affair, seating 30 diners at a time, but the City branch will have only 20-covers with the focus on take-away and delivery.

Patty & Bun Liverpool Street will serve a slightly stripped back menu but the classics will remain. The 'Ari Gold' cheese burger with smoked grained mustard mayo, the Smokey Robinson topped with reduced caramelised onions and crispy cured smoked streaky bacon, and the Jose Jose chilli burger are all on the menu. Sides include skin-on triple cooked chips and smoked confit BBQ chicken wings, along with a new sticky glazed hot wing addition.

On opening day at their new burger joint, Patty & Bun will launch the ‘no such thing as a free lunch’ promotion, giving out free burgers all day.
