Summary
“The attractive village of Wye is not where you’d expect Spanish food”, but that’s precisely what’s on the cards at Rock Salt chef Mark Sargeant’s “light and airy” hotel-restaurant – in action since 1962, but turning out something “different” (tapas but also a “wonderful breakfast”) since he acquired it in 2016.

Summary
“Authentic northern Spanish cooking” featuring tapas and Galician beef has transformed this veteran Kent restaurant (est 1962) under the ownership of Mark Sargeant, of Rock Salt in Folkestone – it’s “reached new heights since the takeover” in 2016.
Summary
“This establishment which has been a restaurant for decades is now under new management and you can see the improvements” at Mark Sargeant’s quintessentially English Kent inn, which he’s turned it into a restaurant inspired by northern Spanish cuisine: “really great tapas, staff and setting make it a great find”.
