Summary

“Idyllically located, right on the harbour at Porthgain, this “very rustic but charmingly so” bistro is “always friendly” and has a “simple and relaxed atmosphere”. It serves “fish as fresh as you’ll find: everything from traditional, wonderfully crisp and crunchy fish ’n’ chips to imaginatively prepared and delicious dishes” (e.g. “the best monkfish stew ever”). Sit outside in the summer overlooking the water”.

"Wonderful selection of up to ten fresh fish - many landed locally - cooked "nature" or in batter with great chips at this restaurant right on the harbour in Porthgan near Fishguard. Portions are for giants -one portion enough for 2 OAPs have a concession at lunch times - check days and time"
