Owner's description

The best food in Italy is fresh, simple and true to its roots. Obicà Poland Street is the home of authentic Italian food in Soho. Nor far from Liberty and the London Palladium, our newest restaurant is ideal for drinks with colleagues or a relaxed dinner before or after the theatre. Our customers enjoy dining al fresco or drop in for our daily aperitivo, small bites of salumi and mozzarella served daily with early evening drinks.

The star of our menu is the freshest mozzarella di bufala DOP from Campania, a must-order whether you prefer classic, smoked or creamy stracciatella. Take a seat at our long mozzarella bar and watch small plates of the finest artisan Italian produce being prepared. Our menu represents our culinary pilgrimage across Italy, where we find sweet datterini tomatoes, San Miniato black truffles and culatello di Zibello, the king of salumi. Our more substantial dishes are based on traditional dried pasta from Gragnano, silky fresh pasta made with Italian flour and fresh eggs, or slow-risen pizza dough using stoneground Petra flour.

Obicà Poland Street belongs to a family of restaurants founded in Rome in 2004. They all serve fresh, simple Italian food, but our Soho restaurant is special because of its long mozzarella bar, downstairs dining room with its own bar, and excellent central location. Visit us for aperitivo, a relaxed, authentic Italian meal with friends, or just to enjoy our super-fresh mozzarella.
