Harden's survey result
Smartly kitted-out and scenically located Belgravia pub, originally launched (under the same owners) as the Pantechnicon Dining Rooms, with a happening ground-floor bar and less frenetic first-floor dining room. Upstairs in particular, the quality of the fit-out is much plusher than your typical corner-boozer.
“Craft ales, excellent wines and an interesting menu” are the offer at this plush Belgravia pub. Formerly known as The Pantechnicon Dining Rooms, it has become “much more approachable since its reincarnation”. “Upstairs the atmosphere is more gentle for an intimate meal”.
“There’s a good buzz about this place” – a comfortably converted Belgravia Pub (part of the Cubitt House Group), formerly known as The Pantechnicon Dining Rooms (and re-named to avoid confusion with their forthcoming venture in the nearby building of the same name). “The food is simple, but well-cooked” and fair value for such a prime address.
The Alfred Tennyson Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Service a little sporadic but food and presentation good in delightful old room above the pub. A great new find!"
