Summary

The 14th floor rooftop of the new Hoxton hotel – this time confusingly located in Southwark, despite the name – is home to a fish and seafood restaurant from the team behind Brooklyn’s Maison Premiere. It opened in September 2019, with a raw bar, a wide range of oysters – and ‘the fresh flavours of southern Europe’. Oh, and great views.

For 29 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.

"Went back after the soft opening. Brilliant oyster presentation. Great all round . My wife wanted to take one of he waiters home ! Noisy and glitzy but in my early 70's I thought it was as good as it gets. Even better on a good evening in th eoutside bar."

"On the top floor of the new Hoxton on Blackfriars Road, the bar is fabulous on a warm evening when we first went. Went back for dinner a few days later, we live a few hundred yards away. Pretty impressive in its first week. Excellent charcuterie and oysters. And a very good whole John Dory, although the waiter didn't know how to fillet it properly. We did. Altogether quite promising. The service was patchy but there are a couple of maitre de's walking and checking, which all too often doesn't happen.Got the impression most of the staff had been brought over from other outposts."
