"Fine dining in Essex Went with my “food wife” and was met by a very friendly maitre. He explained the restaurants philosophy and we had a fascinating amuse bouche followed by some delicious sour dough and cashew butter. Started was a delicious mushroom dish. Man, we chose a superb lamb dish with gentle tandoori spicing. Dessert was an lovely rhubarb sponge with carrot sorbet. All the dished were beautifully presented and with fabulous flavouring. Drinks choices are a little limited, but it’s a small venue Staff lovely and efficient, chef was great to chat to and toilet small but very clean! Great experience, well recommended"
