This has been one of the town’s major culinary destinations for many years: feedback welcomed on his creative modern British grub – changing weekly, and running to five- or seven-course tasting menus.

Most (if not quite all) reporters “love everything” about this intimate riverfront villa with an elegant (prix fixe-only) Victorian dining room – particularly its “cosy atmosphere”, but also its “lovely service” and “creative” cooking.
“Though not exactly cheap”, this “unique” and “really intimate” restaurant, in a riverside villa outside the city centre, offers “sublime” food at times; the prix-fixe gives a “good choice” too... “just as well since it's the only menu available”!
