Free burgers for burghers, as new Patty & Bun rises in City

Fans of ever-packed burger bar Patty & Bun will be pleased to hear its second outpost has opened, right by Liverpool Street station. And they will be even more ecstatic to learn that the new restaurant is giving out free burgers all day today (22 April).

Taking over the former site of Ping Pong Now, Patty & Bun’s new premises are directly opposite the UK’s busiest McDonald’s. With 20 seats, though, the new P&B is even smaller than the 30-cover original, near Selfridges.

The menu at the City branch is slightly stripped-back, but it still includes the ‘Ari Gold’ cheese burger with smoked grained mustard mayo, the Smokey Robinson topped with reduced caramelised onions and crispy cured smoked streaky bacon, and the Jose Jose chilli burger.
