How much? Oh, just a scant £151,000

What? We’re not sure why anyone would want to, but with this package you can celebrate New Year’s Eve twice with a 24-hour party on the world’s fastest private jet as you fly from Sydney to LA in a Gulfstream G560ER with PrivateFly. Experiencing New Year’s Eve twice is only possible by moving eastwards across the International Date Line. With the world rotating at 1,038 miles per hour, the time in Los Angeles is 19 hours behind Sydney, so you can visit both in the same evening.

Here is PrivateFly’s suggested itinerary for 2016:

Thursday 31 December, 8 pm (Sydney)

You could join other VIP partygoers at NYE Party At The House – an exclusive celebration at the Sydney Opera House. Friday 1 January 2016, midnight (Sydney): Celebrate New Year #1

Your Gulfstream G650ER long range jet will be waiting on the tarmac, and there’ll be none of faffing around passengers usually experience at airports, you’ll take off minutes after arriving. The G650ER is the fastest long range private jet in the world and accommodates eight-18 people. During the 12-hour flight there’s music and video entertainment, fine wines, champagne and bespoke catering. For those who’d rather rest and relax there’s a luxury bed and bathroom.

31 December 2015, 7 pm (Los Angeles): Start the party…all over again

Land at Van Nuys, LA’s exclusive private jet airport and then head to one of Beverley Hills’s nighspots. Cleopatra’s Ball attracts some of Hollywood’s hottest partygoers to the Egyptian Theater. Or dine at one of LA’s most renowned restaurants like Spago.
