Salt & Honey 001 darkerJoseph Antippa and Tyler Martin, the owners of Manuka Kitchen in Fulham, have announced plans to open a second restaurant, tucked away just north of Hyde Park. Salt & Honey will launch in a three-level 50-cover site (including a curing room) in Sussex Place on 22 July.

Head chef Tyler Martin’s menu will concentrate on British ingredients with occasional forays into Europe and Australasia. On the menu: Lemongrass and manuka honey cured salmon; poached plum, green beans, shaved foie gras and pistachio; beef fillet, beef shin and girolles; market fish, truffle mash, clams, oyster mushrooms and parsley pesto; Manuka honey and saffron brûlée; and salted caramel pannacotta.

New Zealand-born Martin is a graduate of The Gore Hotel and Bistrot 190 in Kensington. He opened Manuka Kitchen with Antippa in October 2012.

Salt & Honey will be open daily for dinner and for lunch from Tuesday through Sunday. There will also be spaces available for private dining.
